Developing a Personal Learning Networks can be a very useful professional development resource.
Personal Learning Networks (PLNs) are all about using web 2.0 tools such as blogs, wikis, twitter, facebook, Diigo etc. to create connections with others. How you choose to set up your PLN and what tools/resources you use is up to each individual. Each PLN will reflect the interests, needs and strengths of the person setting the network up.

"PLN's can extend our learning, increase our reflection whilst enabling us to learn together as part of a global community. PLNs increase our opportunities to ask questions and receive help compared to our normal daily face-to-face interactions" (Sue Waters)
